Zachary R. Suchin - President & CEO
Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is Zachary Suchin, who will oversee all aspects of the company and will plan overall innovation and expansion of College Tonight. Born and raised in Los Angeles to a family deeply immersed in the entertainment industry, he absorbed pop-culture and took a great interest in how products came to market. Having had great experience directly working for and with production companies, talent agencies, talent management firms and various other Hollywood-related organizations, he has developed a wide gamut of meaningful relationships over the years. During college, he utilized his charisma and networking skills to promote high profile, weekly parties for college students, featuring various platinum-selling recording artists such as Ciara, Chingy, Akon, Jagged Edge, Outkast and various others. As a co-founder of two separate promotion/marketing firms based in Atlanta, he first learned how to run a small business during his academics as a double major at Emory University, graduating with dual degrees in political science and film studies. Developing both Dynasty Entertainment and Misedukated Entertainment into viable businesses, some of the most successful college promotion companies in the country, Zach was recruited by a start-up Internet company, The High School Hook-Up to come aboard and run development of the networking site. After slow funding, the project hit an impasse, but Zach took his new knowledge of the online arena and his expertise in promotions and marketing, and proceeded to develop College Tonight.
Jason A. Schutzbank - Executive VP & CTO
Our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is Jason Schutzbank, who will set the vision and direction for the company's technology and will identify future emerging trends in "social networking." As President & CEO of Philly Designs LLC (phillydesigns.com), a web design and development company based in Philadelphia, Jason has creatively and professionally helped many businesses enter the online world. Notable clients include the WahlRich Group, Marty Shoes, Business Book Review, and Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs. He has worked on many successful branding and marketing campaigns, with an emphasis on ease of use and utilizing revolutionary strategies, making his clients leaders in e-commerce and online marketing. His creative ideas were recently implemented during a campaign for Subaru of America. With extensive experience in management and information technology, Jason's expertise will be a great asset to the company through his introduction of innovative features not seen anywhere else on the Internet.
Milton B. Suchin - Chairman and COO
The Chairman of the Board is Milton Suchin. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Milton received a Bachelor of Science degree from Long Island University majoring in Business Management and Theater. He enlisted and served three years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. Then he began his entertainment career in the mailroom at International Famous Agency, the forerunner of International Creative Management. As a Senior Agent at ICM for ten years, he was a guest lecturer on the entertainment industry at USC, UCLA and The International Modeling Association among other organizations. He was a member of The New York Friar's Club's admission committee. He was awarded the Los Angeles Mayor's Certificate of Appreciation and the Bnai Brith District One's Certificate Appreciation. Milton produced the Texas Governor William Clement's fundraiser in Dallas, starring Dionne Warwick, the entertainment portion of the 1989 University of Miami's Grand Prix, starring Roberta Flack, Co-Produced an Evening With Sammy Davis, Jr., The Celebrity 500 Auto Race, The Most Watchable Man Contest for Metromedia Television, and the Human Dolphin Foundation Benefit for EST in San Francisco and Bob and Dolores Hope's 50th Anniversary party at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. He has served as a talent consultant for the celebrity division of the New York Cerebral Palsy Association and the AMC Cancer Research Hospital. As a talent agent he represented Shirley MacLaine, The Pointer Sisters, Mel Torme and Debbie Boone among others. In 1981 he formed his own talent management company, The Suchin Company, and has represented Phyllis Diller, Jack Jones, Michael Corbett, The Amazing Kreskin, Debbie Reynolds, Danny Musico and Jack Youngblood among others. Milt is still very active in the entertainment industry today. He is a past President of The Talent Manager's Association, a member of the Entertainment Industry's main charity arm - Permanent Charities, The Magic Mirror Foundation, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Academy of Magic Arts, The Celebrity Outreach program, Hollywood International and the Bnai Brith Entertainment Industry Unit. He executive produced the Bill Harris in Hollywood series for the Showtime Networks. He is a co-producer of the "Goodnight We Love You" documentary that has received the Best Documentary Award in San Diego, California in 2004.
He has been in the entertainment industry for thirty seven years. He is listed in Who's Who in California. He is a recipient of The Golden State Award. He was made an honorary Texan by the Governor of Texas and made a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky. He received a certificate from the Disabled American Veteran's organziation. He presently is an entertainment consultant for The Catholic Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky and consults for many Native American casinos including the Barona Casino and Resort in San Diego, California and the Silver Reef Casino in Ferndale, Washington, producing events presenting such stars as Bill Cosby, Tom Jones, Martin Short and Regis Philbin.
Aaron J. Samel - VP Finance and Business Development
Aaron Samel, our VP of Finance and Business Development will manage the finances of the company as well as operate in the development of new business ventures. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Aaron received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the Eller School of Management at the University of Arizona. While attending the University of Arizona, Aaron took a keen interest in the financial industry. He accepted an offer for a position with UBS Financial Services and assisted in the management of a university endowment portfolio. After graduating, Aaron was recruited by Western Asset Management as a Cash Management Associate in New York City. Involved with College Tonight since its inception, Aaron decided to make a career shift to College Tonight upon learning of the opportunity and a proposal to join the newly formed entity. With his expertise and professional experience in management and finance, Aaron will use his operational skills and entrepreneurial drive to help facilitate the expansion and success of College Tonight.
Board of Advisors
Craig Pisaris - Henderson
Craig Pisaris-Henderson joins College Tonight as Chairman of the Board of Advisors. He is currently the managing member of Florida based Nexus Capital, LLC; a private investment organization that primarily addresses the financial and management needs of early stage companies. Craig served as chairman and chief executive officer of Miva, Inc. until April 2006. He has also held the positions of president from June 1999 to July 2004 and chief technology officer (from June 1999 to March 2001) of MIVA's predecessor, FindWhat.com.
Previously, Craig co-founded and served as vice president of BeFirst Internet Corporation, a pioneering company in search engine optimization. He also served as chairman and chief executive officer of E-Troop.com, an Internet company primarily focused on business-to-business solutions, including multimedia Internet content, site architecture, and local content distribution services.
Currently, Craig serves on the board of directors for the YMCA of Lee County, the advisory board for the College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University, and is a trustee of the Florida Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Board of Governors. Craig has been awarded an honorary doctorate of Business Administration from Southwest Florida College. A true entrepreneur, Craig was recognized with the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Florida) in 2003.
Mark Brooks
As a former visionary at Friendster.com, Mark Brooks helped to build their event-based services, making Friendster the number one social networking site on the Internet. In 1998 Mark Brooks founded Ace-Club.com, Silicon Valley's adventure and social club. He worked for eturn (now Remoba), an early competitor to Plaxo in 1999 and then helped develop an early personality profiling based online dating site, which was sold to EZBoard. Mark then joined FriendFinder to assist Dr Conru and Dr Zhang with media relations and business development. He left to help Dr Zhang start personality profiling based diet site, Diet.com. He then helped Eric Straus overhaul the Cupid.com site and acquire and integrate speed-dating company, PreDating.com in 2004. He is now Editor of Online Personals Watch, based on Silicon Valley, and he regularly keynotes at conferences around the world as a consultant to Internet dating and social networking companies. College Tonight has entered into an agreement with Mark to consult on business development, public relations, and marketing from a technological perspective.
Ian S. Gertler
A respected corporate strategy, marketing and public relations consultant for a variety of industry-leading organizations including: 1-800-FLOWERS.com, FindWhat.com, American Home Mortgage, ProcureNet, Special Olympics and CMP Media, Ian is the CEO of Symplegades, Inc. His guidance across the board is invaluable to College Tonight, Inc.'s efforts.
John E. Douglas
One of the leading experts in human behavior, if not the foremost expert in privacy and security. Former FBI Profiler John Douglas is likely most notable as a consultant to the JonBenét Ramsey case. His expertise will be used to help nurture and guard the College Tonight community, through expansive advising and insight.
